Is there anybody out there?

ℹ️ About

Tune in with the slider to find something in the noise. Then respond using the five buttons.

🔈 Sound

Although pretty much everything is also indicated visually, this is very much a sound-based game. Headphones recommended!

In fact, it should work as an audio-only game as long as you’re able to tell the tones apart. An extra challenge, perhaps?

🚥 Flashing lights

It’s not super intense, but adding a warning here to be safe. There’s also moving grain on top of everything.

📱 Mobile support-ish

This may or may not work in a mobile browser using touch on itch.io, since it’s web-based and mouse-only. The fullscreen button didn’t work for me however.

🕹 Controls

You can use mouse/touch only. You can also use number keys for the buttons, and arrow keys or scroll for the slider.

Fattar inte hur det fungerar, men är ändå väldigt trevligt!

I don't understand how it works, but it is still very quaint!

Takk!

Cool game!

I thouroughly enjoyed the secret tune. It was fun figuring it out. Kinda sad there wasn't more, but then again, I was warned that this a 3 day coding adventure.

Thanks for playing! Glad you enjoyed it c:

This is the pattern I came up with, in case it helps:

  • Red=Blue
  • Yellow=Red
  • Green=Purple
  • Blue=Blue
  • Purple=Yellow

It was entertaining :)

Thanks for playing!

You're welcome, I guess :)

I did it!! It took me a while to figure out what I was actually supposed to do, but as I started piecing things together it was fun to keep going. Then actually learning the key and make sure I didn't mess up was delightfully tense. The ending made me giggle too x) Another lovely jam game from you c:
